A Temporary nanny is great if you don’t require a nanny 24/7, but are in need of some extra help.
Anything from summer holiday cover, assisting on a skiing holiday or cover any last minute breaks, we can help by finding the best nanny to cover your specific requirements.

A Temporary Nanny who is there for some extra help at home, maybe a few days a week for 3 weeks for example, the cost would be as follows, being our basic temp nanny rates:
£10 per hour before 7pm
£8 per hour after 7pm
£10 per hour after midnight
Minimum booking of 3 hours
The above is to be paid to the nanny directly on the day they work.
Each temp nanny booking also requires a booking fee as follows:
0-4 hours = £10
4-8 hours = £20
8-12 hours = £25
If you require a temp nanny for 8 hours per day, for more than 3 consecutive days, the daily booking fee will be reduced to £20 per day. The booking fee will be invoiced by email either after the job is complete or on a monthly basis if care is required over a number of weeks or months.
Your Night Nanny will arrive at 9pm and leave at 7am. These hours can be more flexible to suit your family. She will not only care for your baby, but will also guide your baby to sleep through the night.
A Night Nanny will do any of the following:
Settle the baby
Prepare and sterilise bottles
Dress the baby in the morning
Give help and advice on getting the baby into a sleep pattern
Offer strategies on coping with post-natal depression
Stay longer in the mornings to allow you a lie-in if pre-arranged with the Night Nanny
Give advice on breast-feeding
She is NOT responsible for domestic cleaning or laundry
Night Nannies should be allowed to rest in between the baby’s needs. Please provide bedding.

We do charge a finder's fee which is equivalent of one month of the agreed nanny's salary. Nanny salaries can vary based on experience but the average nanny salary is £10 per hour plus tax. The finders fee is only invoiced once the nanny has accepted the position with you.
We recommend using a company like www.nannytax.co.uk or www.nannypaye.co.uk to help you with your payroll, pensions, tax and NI payments, plus advice on any legal requirements for employers.
We can help you with a draft contract if you require one and will do our best to answer questions you may have with the process along the way.
If a booking for a nanny is cancelled within 24 hours you will be required to pay the nanny 50% of her booked time for, plus the agency booking fee. If you cancel within 12 hours you will be charged for the full amount of the booking.
